Where did my mojo go?

I seem to have lost my blogging mojo... not sure whats going on. I certainly have things to post about ... especially meeting Lisa from Everything by Twos... but for some reason I have lost my motivation!

I even joined in with Blogtober Fest (which I have already failed at!!!)....and I have an awesome GF banana cake recipe to share...

I told myself tonight I would sit down and actually write a post.. but so far I have had 'words' with the hubby (keeping it real here!), my youngest is melting down about going to bed (usual) and i am sore.. oh so sore... lol (first netball game in 20 + years last night.. more on that later).

I have been sitting here instead thinking about how frustrating I am finding it using wordpress.  Mostly because I have joined in with swaps etc and without a code for the buttons I can't pop them buttons on my sidebar.. and that makes me feel frustrated because I can't figure how to do it...  silly thing to get annoyed over .. but anyway...

And to all the lovlies out there awaiting prizes from me... I am sorry I have been so slow - hoping to make it to the post office tomorrow... even if I have to crawl!!! hahaha....

So here's hoping tomorrow I find my mojo!!

And make my day.. leave me a comment and inspire me!!!

I went through a similar kind of experience a while ago. I just posted once a week and now I am back into the swing of things. The break was a world of good and now I am bursting with enthusiasm. You'll be right. Just blog when you want.

Take care and best wishes,
Natasha.

I want to write a really motivating inspirational comment, but I can't think of anything, so just wanted to let you know that I follow your blog, I read every post (when I can), and I really hope you find your mojo. I'm sending thoughts of red & white polka dots and cupcakes your way :)

Well it's only natural to have an ebb and flow in the creative writing juices and also finding the time and energy to post blogs. Maybe you might just need a few days off blogging to get re-inspired and amped :-)
Plus you've just had school holidays and I'm sure that would take the energy out of even the most energetic of us!

Hey Leonie...
As to the wordpress thing... I suggest google "wordpress how to..." whatever it is you want to do.
That's how I figure stuff out on blogger.Lots of people complain about blogger's limitations but I have never found it so. I just google what I want to do and there are all kinds of people out there who are sharing their insights.
I hope you get your mojo back...
I was thinking of suggesting (take this with a pinch of salt) that you run your creative linky HERE so you get more traffic to this blog rather than try to recreate it over on the other blog. I reckon you could see more people joining in that way, and even increase your regualr readership here on your main blog.
PS I haven't forgotten the GF blog. I spose I am not really at the pojt of wanting to drive it as I have started undercover bloggers, but i would love to contribute and help in any way e.g. with designing stuff etc.
You start it, we'll jump on board.
When you get your mojo back of course!!

Thanks, I'm going to go find that park next holidays.
I've lost my blogging mojo, craft mojo.... everything mojo really! I've put it down to school holidays and kids that were stuck inside for nearly 2 weeks.
Hope you find your mojo soon :)

You know, you'll blog when you feel like it, and that is when you should do it, and when you'll do it best. Blogging out of some sense of duty or a feeling of obligation just makes for an unhappy blogger & a ho-hum blog, in my experience!

I joined in Blogtoberfest too (and by the way - missing a few days doesn't mean you failed - Cathy says so! Be kind to yourself & take up again when you feel like it!) and am finding it challenging, mostly because I'm sick & can't do the things I want to/would normally blog about.

Anywho, hope you get your mojo back soon, but if it takes a while...? Well, that's okay too. :)

Hi Leonie,

thanks for visiting my blog. You really are my counterpart expat living over there in Oz while I'm here in NZ!
In regards to wordpress, I'm no tech-head, but have managed to work my way around a little bit - give a yell if you have any more trouble with buttons as I've worked around the same issues.

Yes I totally know what you mean about the blogging mo-jo. I'm having computer issues too and getting so much more done around the place.... so blogging is taking a back seat!

And you met Lisa!!!!!! Isn't she just too cool! One of my fav - and as real in person as you can expect!
