a quick christmas tag tutorial

Last week, while putting together gifts for the kids teachers, at the last minute of course, I came up with a simple christmas tag to attach to the fudge we had made for them.

Take one old book (from the op shop for $1)

Pull out a page, fold it in half and cut out a christmas tree shape.

Take one plain tag (mine are bought ones) and distress the edges with Distress Ink

Distress the edges of the christmas tree.

Using double sided tape attach the tree to your tag.

Done!! Easy!

Wow you are so clever! You make it look so easy!
Now I just need to know WHERE you found those cute tags and WHAT the heck is distress ink! I have never heard of such wonders! I've always struggled with burning the dges or painting with teabags!

Wow! This blog looks exactly like my old one! It's on a completely different topic but it has pretty much the same layout and design. Great choice of colors!
