Yay - count me in!! My kids love making softies.
What a gorgeous looking book. I'm always hogging these kind of books from the library.
My kids like anything that involves making a huge mess, mostly baking. They love to draw and 2 have recently been sneaking into my sewing box wanting to make softies or hand puppets.
I am now officially a follower. I love all your different craftyt ideas and look forward to keeping up with it all! Very keen to enter.
What a nice thing to do. I've only just started making things with my grandchildren. Recently we decorate fairy wands and masks. It was a lot of fun. Always looking for new ideas.
ooh pick me! My little girl loves paper crafts. I think she will love to learn to sew...she might need lessons from grandma though
I've managed to get my boy to help sew a robot softie but it's pretty slow progress! Otherwise he loves to create using boxes, tubes and lots of sticky tape! Thanks for the chance to win.
I've seen this book and thought it was lovely. Thanks for the chance to win.
oh I love a competition! My big girl loves to sew, mostly clothes for her and her sisters dolls as she wants to be a clothes designer but she doesn't get a lot of help from me, as I'm Useless At Sewing. That book would do quite nicely!
That looks like just the book I need for my little darlings - they love to bake, paint and want to stitch and sew basic things... but I am not good on the latter... so need to learn on the go, alongside them :) I really don't want to say, 'No we can't do that because I don't know how...', I'd rather say, 'We shall learn together!'
P.S. Very best wishes with your move!!!!
Lovely book. Miss 2 is just starting to get into crafting, mostly paper based craft at the moment and 'helping' me sew ;-)
Looks so lovely! My kids love cutting and gluing and colouring and stitching..... fun!
Great giveaway! We like to do all sorts of different things from paper crafts, sewing, beads, etc.

We have a little boy 2, he loves to bake cakes with me. His favorite at the moment is pasting pictures, he goes through our box and picks out what he wants to paste.
Hi, I found your blog by following a comment you posted on Seaside Siblings. I'm a kiwi mum in Aus too:)
My oldest boy has previously been interested in knitting, but as I cant knit I couldnt help him follow it through...he has always and still enjoys paper craft such as making models and doing origami. My youngest who has just turned 2 is showing a lot of interest in sewing and likes sorting through fabric. He did use to sit at the machine and try to stitch scraps together, until he accidently pulled the machine on the floor. Its now a toy machine, because the repair man said it was stuffed. And he is not allowed to touch my replacement even though he is very keen to try it out!
Hi Leonie, thanks for the chance! My boys still love to make things and bake biscuits and slices. But Miss Martha LOVES to try anything crafty. All 3 love to make cards, playdough and sculpt with wire...gathering from the park eg leaves, gumnuts, pinecones etc are also fun things to craft with.
Oooopsie! posted before I finished! In sum, we love being crafty and love craft books!
Would love the book. I must admit it is a struggle to get my 3 boys into crafty stuff, but I have been delighted to have them enjoy making a softy and doing some french knitting more recently (at their initiation- even better!). Maybe this book would help! C
Oooo can't believe I haven't entered yet. I would love to relearn all the sewing and knitting skills I used to have. This looks like the perfect book to get me going!
My wee rascal has recently discovered the joys of baking and of play doh. A regular chant when she sees hubby get the breadmaker our is "help Daddy help daddy". She knows exactly what to do and the order to do it in.
