A little thrifty find

On Friday Miss E and I went out for a visit to the local op shops....

and we were so happy to find this little dolls cradle/bed

We straight away decided it needed a paint job so bought some paint and went home to get started

sanding and cleaning with wire brush
very professional painting box ...hehe
and the finished result
I love the colour she chose!!

Watch this space because today we are making the bedding for it and her doll 'Lily' is helping ;)

That is the cutest little cradle...the new colour is just perfect.
I can envision it with a vintage sheet quilt :)

Nothing wrong with the cardboard box - that's what Martha uses! LOL. The cradle looks great! Where did you get the spray paint? I need to seek out some spray paint that works. I was burnt with some terrible stuff once (from Spotlight I think) and haven't been game to try again.
